The experts from Silekol’s Application & Development Centre play a central role in researching and developing new products and improving existing solutions.
The Application Centre includes a laboratory unit which performs extensive analyses of resins.
This includes gel permeation chromatography for molecular weight distribution for specific polymers, CN for element analysis (molar ratio), HPLC for examination of purity and identification of chemical substances, DSC (differential scanning calorimetric) - determination of chemical composition and purity, FTIR (Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy) to determinate structure of molecules and molecules mixture, Rheometr to observe a gelation behaviour of the resin, curing point, GC (gas chromatography) and near infrared for quick QC process.
